The Process
The Career Forward coaching process is a unique, personalised four-phased programme.

Step 1 - Foundation
This phase is usually a three hour session to:
- understand and define your skills
- review your experience and work history
- identify your values and your goals for your next role
- provide the confidence and guidance to target a role you really want
Step 2 - Prepare CV
Your CV or Resume is your "sales document" to get you to interview!
This phase includes email, phone and face to face sessions as we craft your CV for your ideal role. The compilation of a CV is so much more than a list of your past employment. You need to understand how recruitment software works or its likely you wont get past first base! Many years of hiring and an indepth knowledge of recruiting means Career Forward knows how to develop a CV that works.
Step 3 - Job Search
This phase refines your CV, preparing versions of your CV to ensure they are relevant to the roles you are interested in e.g. commercial v government roles, technical v leadership roles. In this phase we research roles and determine their alignment with your "checklist".
This session identifies the hidden job market and how to tap into it. We work on your LinkedIn profile. This is a crucial tool in job search and validation by hiring organisations.
Step 4 - Coaching
This phase coaches you in the end to end job search process including:
- identifying opportunities
- tapping into the 60% of jobs that arent advertised
- the application process
- cover letters
- interview coaching
This phase is ongoing until you secure a new role, a new career direction, remain in your current role or decide to stop your job search.
